Eddie Guerrero 1967-2005

"The Standard" Mike Summers and "Molly Holly" Nora Greenwald pay tribute to Eddie Guerrero

"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going." - John 14:1-4

"Jesus comforted his disciples after he predicted his death. My belief was that He also told Eddie Guerrero that a place was being prepared for him for that day when he would be called home. November 13, 2005 was the day God called Eddie home. I truly believe that Eddie is now sitting right at the right hand of Jesus as he is celebrating in a feast. Audio Adrenaline has a song called "Big House". If I may snag the chorus from that song, based on John 14:1-4, to describe where I believe he is:

"'It's a big, big house with lots and lots of room. A big, big house with lots and lots of food. A big, big yard where we can play football. A big, big house. It's my Father's house.'

"I know in my heart that Eddie has a wrestling ring set up there grappling with Road Warrior Hawk and whoever else is having fun. Vickie, your 'papi' is in that big, big house I'm talking about. The Christian Wrestling Outreach wishes to continue to support you during this very difficult time. But as the above Bible verse says, 'Let not your heart be troubled'. Eddie is smiling and will always be with you and the girls. Jesus and Eddie be with you. God bless." - Mike Summers aka "The Standard"

The WWE has responded to fans showing their overwhelming support to the family of Eddie Guerrero by making a special T-shirt available. They are giving all of the proceeds of the sales of these special edition shirts to the Guerreros. Go to WWE Shop and order your shirt today!

Again, Vickie Guerrero wishes to thank all of the fans and friends of Eddie for their overwhelming support during this time and will never forget the love we all have for him.

Nora shares her thoughts on Eddie

(from Gerweck.net): "I will miss Eddie very much. My favorite professional moment of his was his match with Rey Mysterio at the 1997 Halloween Havoc. A personal memory I will never forget, is one time on a tour bus overseas, he shared some Bible verses with me and we had a good discussion about life.

"I am so thankful I was able to know Eddie personally, and am especially thankful I got to give him a hug the night before he passed away."

(From Nora-World.org): "I met Eddie at Dean Malenko's school in Tampa, FL when I was just 20 years old. He went out of his way to give me some advise on how to improve my skills.

"Soon we were co-workers and I would always run to the TV monitor backstage so I could watch his matches. He has always been someone I respect in and out of the ring.

"I saw Eddie one last time in the hotel lobby the night before he died. I am very thankful I was able to give him a hug and say good bye.

"He will be missed by all."
